Mission Statement

A Foundation for Life

Our Mission

“To set the standard in assisting young people to gain confidence, learn living skills and to be part of education, training or employment and develop a sense of belonging within a community all within the context of a safe environment”.

Our Vision

“Our objective is to help young people escape the bonds of hopelessness by providing education, life skills and a caring environment that will empower them to successfully move into the mainstream of society”.

Our independent living programme provides accommodation for young people aged between 16-18+ and is an excellent starting place for young people who need assistance to move into independent living. ABC provides support to young people who have a range of vulnerabilities. These can vary from young people seeking asylum, refugees, unaccompanied minors, and young people leaving care or escaping violence.

Daily one to one support is arranged and set at the young persons pace; outcomes are recorded with feedback from participants, key worker and young person. Sessions are carried out by qualified and vetted staff that have years of experience in providing one to one and group support for young people with emotional needs and learning disabilities and maladaptive behavior.

Residential programmes also address social challenges and Young People can use these available tools to best develop the skills and character necessary to join communities with success.
